This final chapter asks you to put it all to work at once, independently.

03 — HOW THE LANGUAGE WORKS
رُكْنُ الْقَوَاعِدِGrammar Corner
No new rule — only recognition, done independently. Read the passage below slowly and try to label, out loud or in your notes, every structure you can find: a nominal sentence, an iḍāfah, a case ending, a verb tense, a relative clause, a particle like إِنَّ or كَانَ. This time, do it without the hints Chapter Twenty-Five gave you.
وَالْعَصْرِ. إِنَّ الْإِنسَانَ لَفِي خُسْرٍ
wa-l-‘aṣr. inna-l-insāna la-fī khusr By time. Indeed, mankind is in loss.
You can already parse every word here from memory: وَ + الْعَصْرِ (Ch.13, a preposition-like oath particle + genitive), إِنَّ (Ch.22) governing الْإِنسَانَ, لَفِي خُسْرٍ (Ch.13, preposition + genitive). No new grammar — just fluency with what you already own.
Quick check: in إِنَّ الْإِنسَانَ لَفِي خُسْرٍ, which case is الْإِنسَانَ in, and why? (Accusative — it's the mubtada’ following إِنَّ.)
